No Further Words Needed.. |
This post is intended for everyone today who is staying inside their homes and working to do nothing so that we can "flatten the curve." I do not need to explain since we all are in this together. When the Beetles sang "Come Together" they should have added "with a respectable social distance, of course."
From time to time I play Judy Collins' album "Colors of the Day" and it always gives me the emotional support I need to get through the day. I also like to look up and appreciate the wonderful variety of clouds that change from day to day.
For those of you who are not outside, I would like to post some of my favorite cloud images, along with the lyrics from Judy Collins:
I've looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down and still somehow
It's cloud's illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all
My head is always in the clouds!
I REALLY DON'T KNOW CLOUDS AT ALL...
Patrick,
ReplyDeleteI agree, not much matches being at FL410 or even 450 with thunderheads towering above you while the cloud puts on a light show below. Night or day each is special.
BTW, thanks for the video on saving hot hide glue. I've always thought it was about three day and dump what has not been used. Only problem, it may cost you the sell of few bottles of Old Brown Glue :-).

Thank you for these! "The heavens are telling the glory of God." Hope we can all stay safe. Prayers for all those stressed, struggling, and grieving. I am trying to get in my shop more-I think there must be something calming about the scent from my glue pot.
ReplyDeleteVery nice post with beautiful pics. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteit is still possible to see Judy Collins live. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing her perform each year for the last 4 or 5. Her voice is still in top form and she radiates positive energy. Just incredible! Hoping to see her again when everything settles down.
BTW, Clouds was written by Joni Mitchell, another gifted songstress (credit where credit is due and all that)
